New Lenses Added! (Tilt-Shift, Fisheye and more...) October 29 2015, 1 Comment
After months of our Members clamoring for more lenses to be added to our portfolio, we finally got the inventory in on a bunch of new additions. Without further delay, here they are...
One of the coolest fisheye lenses on the market, the Canon 8-15mm f/4L really lets you push the limit of wide-angle creativity. As one of our Basic lenses, you can use this lens for as long or as little as you like.
This lightweight telephoto zoom is the perfect travel companion on your next trip. Or take it along everyday and use it to shoot wildlife, sports, portraits, birds, or whatever else is far away and needs zooming into. The image stabilization lets you get even sharper shots in less light, extending the uses for this lens even further.
We can't image what you would want to shoot with the Canon 14mm f/2.8L II, but it must be pretty wide. The night sky, really (really) tight interiors and blue whales are some of your options with this beast of a (non-fisheye) fixed wide angle.
Nikon shooters are always complaining that Nikon doesn't make a top-of-the-line 50mm lens. Well... they do! They just call it a 58mm (probably just to mess with us) and it takes absolutely beautiful photos!
We're super excited to be adding this amazing telephoto zoom to our PRO lineup. We've offered the D version of this lens for years, and now we've added this one with Vibration Reduction and updated coatings for all you wildlife, birding and sports shooters.
We had to add a Nikon Tilt-Shift lens too, so which better one to pick than the Nikon PC-E NIKKOR 24mm f/3.5D ED? If you've used tilt-shift before, you know what it's all about. If not, rent this lens for a whole month for just $225 - it'll take you that long to figure out how to use it!
Last but not least, the long-anticipated Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR! For you crazy super-telephoto lovers, this new lens from Nikon really extends your reach. Get 500mm (750mm equivalent on crop sensors) in a lightweight package you can carry almost anywhere!
That's the roundup of new lenses for today. These should keep you busy for a while, but don't worry - there's more additions on the way soon!
Tell us what lenses you want us to add next in the comments below - we're always listening! And be sure to join our Newsletter to you find out when we add new gear.
