What is Bokeh Fire?
Bokeh Fire is the future of lens rentals. Pick a lens or have us recommend one. Get it shipped to you and keep it as long as you want. Take lots of great photos. Whenever you're done, you return it and get your next one at no extra charge.
There are no return dates or late fees and you can switch lenses as many times as you want. Even shipping and insurance coverage are included.

How do I join Bokeh Fire?
Select the lens that you want and click "Sign Up". You will automatically receive the corresponding Membership level. Pro Lenses require Pro or Ultimate Memberships. Basic lenses can be used with any Membership. You can then use any of the lenses available to you under your Membership at no additional monthly cost.
Do I need to be approved?
Yes. The first time you rent from us, you will be sent simple instructions to help us verify your identity. These steps help prevent fraud and identity theft, and all new customers must complete them to become Members. Verification typically takes less than 24 hours. Once approved, your Membership will be active and your first lens will be sent out immediately.
How does billing work?
When you rent a lens, you will initially be charged for the first month. You will then be charged every 30 days, as long as you remain a member. You can cancel your membership at any time and you will not be billed for any future months.
How do I renew my Membership?
You don't have to do anything. You will automatically be billed the same amount monthly on the anniversary of your join date.
How do I cancel my Membership?
Just return the lens currently have and email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know that you want to cancel your Membership. We'll cancel it right away and you won't be charged for any future months.
Tell me about your lenses.
We are photographers just like you, so we understand how important it is to use equipment that is in great condition. That's why we maintain all of our lenses are in like-new condition. We clean and inspect every lens before sending it out, so you never have to worry about getting anything that isn't in top condition.

How many lenses can I use at a time?
You can use one lens at a time. Which lenses you use depends on your Membership Plan. To use a different lens, simply return the one you currently have using the pre-paid shipping label and same box it came in.
How long can I keep each lens?
You can keep each lens as long as you like - a week, a month, six months, whatever! As long as you remain a paying Member, there are no return dates or late fees of any kind. You will continue to be billed on a monthly basis as long as you keep a lens.
How do I receive the lens?
Lenses are shipped directly to you via UPS or FedEx, safely packed in a sturdy box. If you live in Philadelphia, you can arrange a local pickup by emailing email@example.com.
How do I return a lens?
Simply put it back in the same box using the pre-paid shipping label and drop it off at your nearest authorized UPS drop-off location.
How much is shipping?
All Plans include free unlimited round-trip shipping on every lens.
Where do you ship?
Please note that a signature confirmation is required on all packages. This means you or an authorized person must be there to receive the lens. We ship to all 48 States in the continental US. Please note we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or mail forwarding services.
How much does insurance cost?
Basic insurance coverage is already included in your membership price. A reasonable deductible applies. Please see below for information on damaged or broken lenses.
What if I damage/break/lose a lens?
By taking care of our lenses, you help us keep our Membership rates so incredibly low. All lenses come with an included neutral UV filter to help protect them. Please don't remove this filter - it helps protect the lens from dust and damage.
Minor cosmetic blemishes incurred during normal use of the lens are perfectly acceptable and you will not be charged for them.
If a lens is seriously damaged or broken while you're renting it, you will be responsible for a deductible. Serious damage is defined as anything that affects the proper functioning of your lens. The deductible charge is only a fraction of the replacement cost of the lens.
For Basic Lenses, you are only responsible for $250 per damaged lens.
For Premium Lenses, you are only responsible for $500 per damaged lens.
Please note: If a lens is lost or stolen while in your possession, you are responsible for the full replacement cost of the lens.

Can I get a Membership discount?
Yes! Signing up for 12 months saves you 20% compared to the a monthly subscription.
Can I buy my lens?
All Bokeh Fire Members who maintain their subscription for a minimum of three months are entitled to a discount on the purchase of any one lens.
After 3 months, Basic Members get a $200 discount on the purchase of any Basic lens.
After 3 months, Pro Members get $400 off the purchase of any Pro or $200 off any Basic lens.
The selling price in all cases is the current MSRP of the specific lens minus the discount.
Why did you start Bokeh Fire?
Well, we looked around at existing rental services and thought there was a lot of room for improvement, so we decided to do it ourselves. That's pretty much it.
